As much as short dresses and shorts sound practical for a day at a beach, maxi dresses and skirts claim to give you all that too and more. The flow and movement of the dress against the breeze is ultra feminine and makes you feel like a goddess. However, the minute breeze turns into a strong wind, your maxi dress becomes less of a dress and more of a parachute. Ok, parachute or not, maxi dress is one trouble you shouldn't shy away from getting into on a beach ever. I absolutely love how they double up as a cover up for your actual beach wear.
