Cuff the fringe!!!

Everybody's got their drug, mine is Fashion. So, I am bound to get knocked out of my senses when a dress is Wine Red in Georgette, with a bow in the front, mesh detailing around the shoulder, polka dots and offers a dream fit, need I say more. All I needed was to do something about my stubborn hair. I have more bad-hair days than my furry pet, Maggi, and she agrees.

Well, one should know when to underplay the accessories, however, that doesn't mean giving up on style at all. I kept the accessories to a minimum, but, dramatic, just like my hair. My pointed ankle strap gold studded pumps and fringe gold cuff added the punk feel to my otherwise classy dress.

How to get wavy curls at home??
Step 1: Tie your wet, damp hair in a twisted tight bun. Hold it with a rubber band.
Step 2: Blow dry for a few minutes.
Step 3: Tadaaa!!!! Untie your hair, and wait, don't run a comb through it, instead run your fingers through the length to de-tangle your hair. Enjoy beautiful voluminous wavy curls.

High on high tops!!!

I am just like any other girl who would spend hours standing in front of the mirror trying almost all my clothes everyday, before deciding upon one. May be thats why I hate packing more than unpacking. I am always too confused to decide what all to take along. If given a choice, I would love to carry my entire wardrobe and not leave anything behind.

So, all hell broke loose when my husband gave me an ultimatum to pack light for a weekend trip. Pack and light?? These two words are non existent for me, when put together. But I took it up as a challenge and carried just one Satchel flap bag from ZARA, the one that goes with all my outfits and my favourite pair of high tops from Forvevr21. They are super high on comfort and even higher on style.

Here's how I survived on our weekend trip, clearly its an overdose, but, who cares, I am high on high tops:) High heels can rest some more.

If Red is blood to fashion, statement jewellery is the backbone!

Well, if Red is blood to fashion, statement jewellery is the backbone. This is my rule to styling and is supposed to make my life easy, but , it further complicates it. Less is more or less is a bore?? Its one debate my arguments will always fall short for.

My love for fit and flare dresses is a secret too well kept, only on Mars. This printed pleated dress has a very ladylike feel and fits me like a dream. I wore it to a food review of a restaurant. The place has the most vintage wine collection, a very inspired menu and a generously soothing live music to complement it. Last thing I wanted to, was to compete with the restaurant. Idea was to keep the style simple and sophisticated, however, I kept thinking to myself, if you're not gonna go all the way, why go at all? As long as you have fashion by your side, good food in your mouth and your favourite drink in your glass, you have solved all questions for the time being, right?? So, having put together a perfect excuse, I settled on statement earrings and Red to make my look an absolute charmer, just like a glass of  Red wine. The evening was worthy of all the efforts and the dress withstood all the damage brought on by the multiple re-fills of gorgeous wine and heart warming multiple courses of food.

On a time out now, I think the right word is hibernation, only till I break down all the fat for another food journey or just find yet another excuse to style a look, either way I am going to show up in your notifications very soon....XOXO
