Sequins and Sparkle!

"For those colors you wish to be beautiful, always first prepare a pure white ground." - Leonardo da Vinci

I am too smitten by white lately. It is so pure, serene and such a perfect color on all skin tones that you don't need to think twice before investing in it. This white georgette dress was love at first sight and needless to mention the colorful sequin party on the blouse is more than just cherry on the cake. It is classy and quirky at the same time, just how I like my dresses. Minimal accessories and a top bun is perfect to draw all the attention to the sequin work. This is one dress that I could easily dress down for a day function and jazz it up for a night pppp..paaaartyyy !

Mixer!

I am not that big a fan of print on print trend. Mixing prints isn't my forte and I usually stick to just one print in my outfits. But, I was more than sold on this look for some strange reason. This outfit has 3 different prints and playfully incorporates different textures. I love how pink is complementing the fresh green on the top and shoes. Never one to shy away from layering my outfits and love how put together it makes me feel. I layered the look with a short printed cape worn over a sleeveless top and still balanced the easy breezy feel of the look with a pair of high waisted denim shorts. The hero though is the printed sling, it brings the entire look together. I adore the simplicity of this outfit, and if you pay close attention to the details, its a very complex one

Red Rage!

Off the shoulder tops and dresses are all the rage right now. I was saving this Red magic for some emergency dressy situation, but just couldn't hold my excitement for long. This dress has the gypsy vibe so I gave a break to my cross-body bags and specially  bought a backpack and lace up shoes to take the look up a notch. Next time, I plan to wear this dress as a tucked in blouse with a high waist skirt for a polished look, what say you?

Weaving boho dreams!

What doesn't let you sleep, gives you dark circles. And in my case even a recent fabric purchase is capable of giving sleepless nights. I loved the print on this fabric I bought on impluse but wasnt able to decide what to get stitched out of it. So, I did what I usually do, my beloved mirror and me spent hours staring at it being folded, wrapped and tied around me in different styles. An hour later, I gave up finally and decided to make a long jacket out of it.

The print was already screaming Boho so I just played along. A pair of Blue cullotes and a striped crop top complemented the print on the jacket. Accessorized the look with layered tasseled and feather necklaces, stacked rings and tribal chappals.
