Faux and Floral!

It's too cold to even think about wearing skirts or dresses or anything that ends before the floor, however, I get more drawn to skirts in winters than in summers. 

Mixing textures and patterns when layering the top is perfect if you plan to take your chances with bare legs on a cold day. A faux leather fancy skirt and a floral jumper is just perfect for a mid-week fun yet work appropriate outfit. Layer a floral jumper over a plain white shirt letting the sleeves and collar peek out. 

Remember, the only rule to look a million bucks is, not to play safe. If you aren't ready for bare legs, don't be. There are warmer options too, high socks or pantyhose/tights will keep you warm and still make sure your weekdays are getting their share of girly makover!
