Money can't buy me a figure, but, it can buy me enough Peplums!

One can never go wrong with a peplum top. I have about five of them and they never disappoint. Safe to say that they have been the most rewarding investment of my life. Perfect hour glass figure is a myth, Peplum's a reality!
Peplums lift your spirits instantly and it is possibly the quickest way to chic up. The key to styling a peplum top is to pair it up with something fitted, like here the fit of the monochrome print pencil skirt balances the flare of the peplum. The color of the top is majestic, especially against the print of the skirt. I added another pop of color through my clutch. White sandals and the silver layered necklace merged with the look to a point they are almost invisible, but, that was the point, couldn't have risked more color in the look.

People change, things go wrong, shit happens but life goes on!! Drama looks better when its in fashion. Cheers to this till I we meet again. More drama awaits you.

There's a reason why blood is Red!

Red!! No color screams passion as much as Red does. Who am I to deny its power, there's a reason why blood is Red.
This chiffon fit and flare dress is my own creation and I am so proud of it that words cant express the gratitude I feel for whatever lil I know about designing; and whats not to like about the dress, it fits me like a glove and the flowy flair is just too dreamy. I have worn this dress twice already, only to discover a whole new level of love for it on both the occassions.

If there is anything I have learnt about competition is that the best way to kill competition is to partner it, especially when Red is in play. So, it was  a no brainer to pair up the dress with a Red waist belt, Red pumps and Red lipstick.
The only thing breaking the monotony is my printed clutch. Gold rings and layered pearl neck lace were enough jewels to add to the beauty, though the dress dint need any.

XOXO....till next time I dare to get clicked in an outfit like this in broad daylight. Its confusing for people, cause even an outfit as gorgeous as this ends up looking like a costume when your wear it at 2:00pm in the afternoon.

Long drive takes shortcuts!

I love invading my husband's wardrobe from time to time, may be too often these days. I'll let you in on a  secret not kept well, 'I gift him things only to borrow them later for my own mis-use'. So, even before he could outgrow these T-shirts, I claimed them. Did I mention that he outgrows his clothes twice a month? And how much I LOVE it? All thanks to his love for food and a weaker determination to get up for a jog. Proud to be a wife who takes pleasure in her husband's misery. I secretly steal his Tees and add them to my pile, and call them my own. My wardrobe is my wardrobe, his wardrobe is my wardrobe. Period. (I mean that's the whole point of marriage, right?)

I am not ready to fold my summer clothes yet, but, the fall has fallen and there is a definite chill in the air. Well, I am too stubborn to give up. So, decided to take all of my shorts out for a spin as much as I can before the chill gets to a point that it kills.

It isn't news that how obsessed I am at putting pale pink and pale blue together, but, there's one other thing I am obsessed over more, pairing anti-fit Tees with super short shorts. I have been spotted wearing my husband's T-shirts too often these days, and my only saving grace is that it isn't criminal, yet!

PS: This is just a start of a short-story. Enjoy till it lasts, coz it might just run SHORT(s) on your expectations!!...wink wink**

I wear a necklace, cause I wanna know when I'm upside down;)

I find the best things when I am not looking for one at all. They just show up and fall into my lap, just like that. This oxidized silver neck piece too just happened to me. It is such a beautiful and interesting piece that I plan to wear it as a head gear too from time to time. Bored of your necklaces? Well, try them as a head gear and go edgier.

I usually make my jewellery  go with my outfits, but, with this look I went the other way round. The neck piece is playing the lead as decided, but, I am a strong believer in the fact that beauty is in the details, so, ruffles on my sling backs and stack of bracelets on my wrist are few other things to watch out for.

I was a lil lost when I started writing this post, but, things have a habit of  falling into place. We just got to stop trying too hard, I just did, and suddenly the cloud weighing me down got liftted and boom!!! I found happiness again. Wishing all of you who take time out to read my not-so-stupid posts a blessed day ahead.
